Bio-Rad has expanded its StarBright™ Dye portfolio with a new range designed for spectral flow cytometry, starting with the launch of StarBright UltraViolet700 (SBUV700). The dyes are conjugated to validated antibodies against 46 immunology markers, including 13 new markers, and are said to provide unique spectral properties with narrow excitation and emission profiles. The company notes that they are intended to give researchers greater flexibility in designing multiplexing panels and are compatible with the Bio-Rad ZE5 Cell Analyzer and most other flow cytometers, sorters, and spectral instruments.
