n6 has introduced icon16™, a 16 well thermocycler that applies the company’s AutoNorm™ adaptive amplification technology to lower throughput sequencing workflows. The system monitors each well in real time and stops amplification individually at a user defined endpoint, helping reduce over cycling and variability in NGS library preparation. Compatible with major commercial library prep kits, icon16 is designed for applications such as single cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, cfDNA and MRD assays, and other workflows where labs typically process smaller batches of samples.
