Idle Human provides a totally new way to learn about anatomy. The app turns human anatomy into a game, where the goal is for users to build a person from the ground up. Users have to start with the skeletal system, offering support for the rest of the body, and can add new parts only when the correct sequence of previous parts are already in place. For example, if you want to add the heart and lungs, you need to make sure that you’ve added in the rib cage first. In order to add parts, users have to acquire enough cells, which are added at a rate analogous to what is found in the actual body. While users are building their human, fun facts about anatomy scroll across the top of the screen so that you’re continually learning something new. Idle Human is a great alternative to the typical anatomy apps and is a fun learning tool for students and curious adults alike.
