Summary:

With the tagline, “Where proteomics meets cardiovascular biology and medicine,” The Cardiac Organellar Protein Atlas Knowledgebase (COPaKB) is a great online proteomics resource for researchers and cardiologists. iCOPa (intuitive Cardiac Organellar Protein atlas) is an accompanying mobile app that allows users to tap into COPaKB on the go. The app has two main sections: the spectral library search, which allows users to analyze raw proteomics data as a query to COPaKB, and the keyword search, wherein users can search COPaKB using keywords such as protein name, peptide sequence, or others. For both features, connectivity to the Internet is required, as nothing is downloaded locally upon installation of the app. The app includes a useful help section that orients users to both search functions, and further information can be found at the corresponding COPaKB website.
