Strong Points: Extensive number of terms
Weak Points: Simple design

Botany & Plants SMART Dictionary is deceptively simple upon opening the app, but soon reveals an extensive dictionary of nearly three thousand terms related to botany and plant sciences. The app breaks terms out into broad categories, ranging from plant anatomy, genetics, and biochemistry to organismal botany and agronomy. Each entry provides a brief definition of the term, and the app allows the user to save entries to return to later. Additionally, there is a quiz feature that lets app users check their knowledge of plant and botany terms. Although the app itself is fairly simple, the breadth of sophisticated terms that it covers is impressive, making it a useful addition for anyone studying botany or wishing to brush up on their knowledge of plants.
