Agilent Technologies says that it plans to acquire Velocity11 to strengthen its automated sample-preparation solutions.
Velocity11 makes automated liquid-handling products and laboratory robotics for the life science market. The company designs, manufactures, and markets products that range from standalone instrumentation to benchtop automation solutions to large, multiarmed robotic systems. Velocity11 also develops software to control the robotics.
