Strong Points: Databases
Weak Points: Slim Pickings

Summary:
With an acronym reminiscent of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, JPSL is an Australian site focused on proteomics rather than propulsion. The opening page contains six icons hyperlinked to the main content of the site. A click on the Database icon brings up five databases produced from 2-D gel electrophoresis of proteins. Tissues analyzed include human breast carcinomas, mouse colon polyps, human colon carcinoma (2), and human lysosomal proteins. Other features of the site include two interesting protocols (in-gel proteolysis and capillary column construction). Aside from these items however, the pickings are a bit sparse for general interest. The primary attractions of the site are clearly the databases.
