Strong Points: Molecular focus on disease
Weak Points: A little light in place
Summary:
CPRMap (Clinical Proteomics Research Map) provides visitors with information and links relating to this rapidly expanding research area. Organized as a set of links to news items and specific disease topics, CPRMap provides one of the most interesting approaches to a topic I have seen. The news is informative—“Clinical Trial Confirms Value of p27 for Predicting Breast Cancer Survival.” The links to topic areas are well organized, with headings of Disease Proteomics, Neuro-Proteomics, and Proteomics in numerous diseases, including urology, bladder cancer, kidney, prostate, cystic fibrosis, asthma, pulmonary disease, and SARS. The descriptions inside each link are a bit disappointing and don’t in general lead to additional info, which is unfortunate, but I suspect you are going to see coverage here expand considerably as time passes.
