Cell Imaging for Laboratory Automation

Thrive’s CellAssist is a new benchtop instrument that automatically builds a database of images, metrics, methods, and materials to ensure centralized data capture and retention. The company claims that the CellAssist replaces your time at the microscope to acquire, organize, and analyze images of all your cells in culture plates. The CellAssist captures images at up to 100 focal planes, each two μm to 50 μm apart (user selectable), with a z-range of 3.5 mm. With barcodes to identify plates and reagents, the CellAssist has been designed to maintain a centralized record of the growth and behavior of all cells.
