Anti-Aging Nutraceutical Improves Muscle Remodeling and Glucose Metabolism in Older Women

In the first clinical trial on nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis have found that the compound previously demonstrated to counteract aging-related issues and improve metabolic health in mice also has some clinical benefits in postmenopausal prediabetic women, such as increased glucose uptake in skeletal muscles. However, all benefits seen in female mice are not replicated in human females.
