J&J’s COVID-19 Vaccine Found to be Effective Against Variants of Concern

A lingering concern since the COVID-19 vaccine was first administered is whether or not the vaccines protect against infections with variants of concern. Now, research from the same team that helped develop the J&J vaccine found that it induces robust immune responses against all the viral variants. Not only is this good news for the public health effort, but the work also contributes to a larger understanding of vaccine protection against SARS-CoV-2.
