Summary:
Each book in the “Handy Answer Book” series provides a large amount of content in a specific field delivered in question-and-answer format. Now curious minds can interact with the content in app form with the Handy Biology Answer Book app. The app is nicely designed with content divided into fifteen topics that include environment and ecology, anatomy, and cellular basics. Each topic is itself divided into “chapters” comprising multiple pages of information. Cleverly, the app keeps the books’ Q&A format by initially blurring out the “answer” portion of each page until the user clicks on the “Read” button to reveal the text. The last chapter within each topic is initially locked, though rather than having to spend money to unlock it, users must answer questions about content from the earlier chapters to gain access to the content.
