Induced pluripotent stem cells select iPSCs) have revolutionized life sciences research efforts, especially when trying to understand the underlying causes of debilitating human diseases. Combining iPSC technology with cutting-edge genome editing methodologies provides a unique opportunity for investigators to create an array of disease models that will become integral for developing new therapeutic approaches. We have already seen a steady rise in the use of human iPSCs for disease modeling, which, initiating in academia, have now infiltrated the biopharmaceutical industry. In this GEN webinar, we will provide a field overview of how iPSCs, coupled with genome editing, hold the potential to expand our understanding of human diseases further and facilitate the development of new therapies.

A live Q&A session followed the presentations, offering a chance to pose questions to our expert panelists.
