UC Enuity, a next-generation ultramicrotome for electron microscopy sample preparation, has been launched to save users time through automated setup. According to the company, the ultramicrotome was designed to lower the barrier to entry-level researchers and technicians and enable users of all skill levels to achieve results with minimal training. The ultramicrotome can also be upgraded with add-on modules to a fully featured system to expand capabilities. UC’s Enuity has temperature control and an integrated cryo chamber that includes micromanipulators and cryosphere, so ice contamination is minimized and cooling conditions are maintained for each sample.
