The Minimate™ EVO TFF system, which the company notes was designed for buffer exchange or protein concentration of samples up to 1 L, is capable of offering product recovery, minimal sample loss, and the added benefit that system and cassette can be cleaned and reused to eliminate sample carryover. The Minimate EVO system includes a variable-speed, roller-head peristaltic pump for processing, two pressure gauges, valves, tubing, and a 500-mL reservoir with a magnetic stir bar and stir plate—all assembled on a compact drip tray. In recent applications, the Minimate system has been used for concentrating viral proteins for COVID-19 research.
