IsolateIBS-IBD uses a simple blood draw to identify (with >90% accuracy) the presence of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The test examines the patient’s RNA profile not only to identify but distinguish between the two conditions. In addition, the IBD portion of the test can aid in the diagnosis of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. This is a significant improvement over traditional IBS/IBD testing, which involves X-rays, stool analysis, endoscopies, and several months’ time.
