The StarBright UltraViolet 400 Dye was designed for use with a UV laser in flow cytometry applications. The dye was made to provide researchers with choice and flexibility when designing flow cytometry experiments. The company claims StarBright UltraViolet 400 Dye offers brightness with narrow excitation and emission profiles, making it suitable for use in multicolor flow cytometry panels. The dye is an alternative to existing dyes excitable by the 355 nanometer UV laser without buffers. It is compatible with new and existing protocols and multiplex panels.
