Biocolor announced the release of the Sircol 2.0 Collagen Assay Kit, designed for measurement of soluble collagens extracted from in vitro or in vivo samples. This latest addition to their line of “Sircol” collagen kits combines an updated microplate format with an improved dye formulation to enhance collagen sensitivity and specificity. The company claims the improvement will make it possible to directly analyze collagen from complex samples such as conditioned media during 2D or 3D cell culture.
