Advanced BioMatrix

PhotoHA®, a methacrylated hyaluronic acid (HA) for UV-crosslinkable hydrogels, allows native-like 3D HA gels possessing unique attributes to be prepared at various concentrations. It also facilitates the use of UV-crosslinking to control gel stiffness. The kit comes with 100 mg of lyophilized methacrylated HA and 100 mg of irgacure photoinitiator. For the majority of cell types, it is recommended that additional extracellular matrix proteins be incorporated into the HA hydrogels. These proteins provide important cell binding sites.
