The need for process intensification and implementation of Bioprocess 4.0 requires extensive real-time data acquisition and process modeling. Such measurements are available for many vital factors through inline and online sensors to better evaluate critical process parameters (CPPs) and assess critical quality attributes (CQAs). However, monitoring the extracellular environments to assess cell metabolism and create predictive models still suffers from a lack of relevant data. As such, at-line mass spectrometry-based technologies provide key cellular metabolic and protein quality data in real-time to support process intensification and modeling.

In this GEN webinar, our panelists will describe how they use combinations of at-line and online sensors, better data acquisition, management platforms, and process modeling to implement process intensification.

A live Q&A session followed the presentations, offering a chance to pose questions to our expert panelists.
