Rating:
Strong Points: Reviewers are well-known authors and scientists
Weak Points: Reviews aren’t posted very frequently

Summary:

Technology continues to change the way we digest information, and recent years have seen a rise in ebooks. Unlike their traditional print counterparts, however, ebooks do not generally receive as much press or recognition. Download The Universe—an online science ebook review—was created to remedy this by giving science ebooks their time in the spotlight. The reviews are written by the site’s editors—all of whom are well-known authors and/or scientists—and are posted in a running-text format on the homepage. On the right-hand side of the site, one can select an editor’s name to be taken to his/her external website. Visitors to the site can search the archives and can also browse the reviews by keyword. A list of science ebooks (with links to the download) is given on the library page.
