Rating:
Strong Points: Excellent organization
Weak Points: None

Summary:
Not to be outdone by the 1-2 punch of the Bay Area sites above, Cardiogenomics strikes a blow for cardiogenomic research on the Easy Coast (Harvard). With an extensive list of projects that seems (at least to my eyes) more ambitious than those on the West Coast, Cardiogenomics is no lightweight in this topic area. The site’s design is intelligent and visitors can easily find their way to relevant information. Highlights include investigations in animal models of cardiomyopathies, human cardiac tissue analysis, congenital heart disease gene analysis, and large scale SNP analysis (population studies). Each information section is subdivided to provide excellent hierarchical organization of information. Still other areas of the site include bioinformatics tools, links to other sites, and an extensive collection of publicly available data. An excellent site that excels in navigation/organization.
