The Multiphysics Automated Reconfigurable Separation platform (MARS), is a “one-stop” modular solution for complete cell isolation from complex samples. MARS patent-pending active-microfluidic chip module isolates white blood cells from 100ul–10ml of whole blood samples in about 3–50 minutes without Ficoll centrifugation. The MARS system fits in your hood, offering protection from airborne particles. The proprietary active-microfluidic chip module uses acoustics and fluidics to isolate immune cells and plasma from whole blood without manual operation. MARS is a customizable platform suited for COVID-19 samples. The fluidics design can be easily mounted and unmounted, and the lines can be used in sterilized closed fluidics mode for infectious samples.
