The Death with Dignity Act, which was approved in November in Washington state, took effect on March 5. Physicians at participating hospitals are now allowed to prescribe lethal doses of medication to terminally ill patients who have less than seven months to live under very strict guidelines. Healthcare facilities as well as health providers are divided on this subject, so we’d like to know how you feel.
