Sanofi’s Offer of Approximately $2.6B Tops Initial Offer of $2.3B.
Yesterday, Anthiarose, a subsidiary of PPF Group, reported a voluntary takeover offer to acquire Zentiva at $60.8 (CZK 950) a share.

Today, Sanofi-Aventis, the largest Zentiva shareholder, presented a competing bid of $62.7 (CZK 1050) per share.

Zentiva boasts over 280 products including prescription drugs, OTC products, and food supplements. The firm also manufactures cosmetics and APIs.
