Firms hope to launch products this year.
QuantRx Biomedical and Jant Pharmacal plan on developing and commercializing diagnostics and monitoring instrumentation. QuantRx and Jant are planning to launch several new products in 2008.
The firms inked a memorandum of understanding agreement to jointly explore point-of-care technologies in the oncology and cardiovascular areas as well as other emerging markets. The technologies will be supported by strong IP positions as well as proof-of-concept and clinical data, the companies state.
