DynoChem (www.scale-up.com) entered into a global, multiyear licensing and support agreement with Bristol-Myers Squibb (www.bms.com). The transaction will allow Bristol-Myers Squibb to expand deployment of DynoChem process modeling software throughout its R&D group and for scale-up into manufacturing. Bristol-Myers Squibb notes that in meeting the challenges inherent in the scale-up of synthetic pharmaceutical processes, operation modeling allows the company to make efficient use of knowledge and resources to rapidly answer critical questions.
