Charkit Chemical (www.charkit.com) finalized a distribution agreement with Palchem Fine Chemical Specialties (www.palchem.com), a French producer of specialty organic bromides. “The association enhances Charkit’s ability to offer the quality bromoalkanes, dibromoalkanes, benzyl bromides, and bromo acids and esters that distinguish Palchem’s specialty chemical expertise,” explains Charles Hinnant, president of Charkit Chemical. “Palchem’s substantial capabilities also include custom synthesis using a variety of hazardous raw materials, including ethylene and propylene oxides, thionyl chloride, bromine, hydrogen bromide and phosphorus oxychloride and oxybromide.”
