APP Pharmaceuticals selected Thermo Fisher Scientific for a three-site multiphase rollout of its Darwin LIMS™. Darwin is a purpose-built LIMS for pharmaceutical manufacturing R&D and QA/QC.
The project will initially involve the deployment of Darwin’s environmental monitoring functionality enabling facilities to move from manual systems onto an automated system for microbiological samples from the sterile manufacturing environment.
The second phase will feature an integrated LIMS and Chromatography Data System implementation. The final stage of the LIMS rollout will include SAP interfaces across all sites, notes APP.
