PerkinElmer launched a series of explorer™ workstations for SARS-CoV-2 testing for preparing and running up to 10,000 COVID-19 tests per day. These modular and scalable workstations were designed to enable laboratories to ramp up SARS-CoV-2 testing capacity quickly to generate results. Slow results and delayed responses can increase the risk of further spread of the disease. The workstations help laboratories improve their efficiency while eliminating errors. In addition, the company claims it reduces labor requirements by automating and standardizing disparate workflow steps.
