The new unit will use Dip Pen Nanolithography to create nanoscale structures.

NanoInk has launched a new division, NanoBioDiscovery. The division will utilize Dip Pen Nanolithography® nanofabrication techniques in combination with proprietary detection systems to produce sensitive assays for protein discovery and identification.

“NanoInk is committed to developing applications for Nanofabrication and partnering to find solutions for the challenges associated with life science research,” comments James M. Hussey, CEO of NanoInk.

Earlier this year, NanoInk created two divisions: NanoGuardian™, in May, to help deliver brand-protection solutions to fight illegal diversion and counterfeiting; and in late November, NanoFabrications for the Dip Pen Nanolithography instrumentation, which also helps deliver custom nanofabrication solutions to help customers with nanoscale manufacturing.

NanoInk specializes in nanometer-scale manufacturing and applications development for the life science and semiconductor industries. Using the Dip Pen Nanolithography patented and proprietary nanofabrication technology, scientists can create nanoscale structures from a wide variety of materials, according to NanoInk.
