Summary:

The Attenborough Story of Life app by BBC Worldwide is an incredibly beautiful and informative app that will thrill biology enthusiasts. The app provides access to an online library of over 1,000 of Sir David Attenborough’s wildlife clips, with some additional commentary included. As the videos are streamed from the Internet, instead of downloaded and played locally on the device, it’s essential that app users have an Internet con-nection (or plenty of data to spare on their phone carriers’ data plans). Some of the clips are already organized into featured collections; however, app users can alternatively browse the entire collection of clips. For more directed exploration, users can search the collection by species type (e.g., mammals or fish), behavior, or habitat. App users can also save their favorite clips to create their own custom collections.
