Rating:
Strong Points: Diverse collection of images
Weak Points: No information about the plants represented in the collection

Summary:

Cannabinoid researchers will be disappointed with this website. Weedimages.org is a website chock-full of images of the nasty plants that wriggle their way into our gardens, as well as those that destroy natural habitats with their invasive tactics. The weeds are organized into six categories: aquatics, herbs/forbs, grasses, shrubs, trees, and vines. (Who knew there was such a variety?) The image collection can also be browsed by taxonomy, location, photographers, or organization, along with a few other options. The images are of good quality and there is a good variety, although it would be nice if there was additional information provided about the plants that have been photographed. For the most part, what you see (just a pretty picture) is really what you get. As a tool for identification purposes, however, the website is an excellent resource.
