Rating:
Strong Points: Lots of content
Weak Points: Chaotic layout

Summary:
A site that will give you a bit of what you expect accompanied by a few surprises, TreeHugger is not a just page about trees (though one can find a few items related to trees). Rather, TreeHugger provides a poster board for the Green movement and, in fact, might better be dubbed GreenLover (a quick check showed the latter domain to be available – get it quick!). With a Web site that literally SPRAWLS all over its topic, as well as all over the individual pages composing it, TreeHugger won’t win any prizes for either hierarchical design or visually appealing layouts. What it lacks in aesthetics, though, it more than makes up in content. Outstanding and informative stories relating to environmental and climate change dot the landscape, but the most noteworthy pieces of the site are the highly polished video and audio reports covering all aspects of modern life, from science and technology to food and heath. A site that is hard to encapsulate in a review, TreeHugger is worth checking out.
