Rating:
Strong Points: Lots of information
Weak Points: No hypertext or other important info

Summary:
I stumbled onto this site and, if I had judged it by its bland, uninformative cover (to bend a metaphor), I wouldn’t be including it here. I’m a stubborn cuss, though, and my curiosity got the better of me. Scrolling down through “Contents” and “CD-ROM Version Now Available,” I determined that there was online text relating to a book. I have no idea what its title is, amazingly enough, but my exploration quickly revealed text from dozens of online chapters on topics that included immunology, bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and a final section entitled “Introduction to Infectious Diseases.” There is a VAST amount of information here. Each chapter appears to have been pulled from a book and it includes figures as well as text. None of the text I saw was hyperlinked and the links to purchase said book or CD-ROM didn’t work on my browser. Is this the Twilight Zone?
