Rating:
Strong Points: Articles on a range of science topics
Weak Points: Hit-and-miss quality, intrusive advertisements

Summary:

While I do disagree with this website’s enthusiastic introduction of “science lovers rejoice,” I do believe that science lovers can get some pleasure from the content of Scienceray.com. This website posts articles about various scientific topics written and submitted by registered users. Given the free-for-all authorship format, the content is rather hit and miss, but there are some interesting articles and topics represented on the site. If nothing else, Scienceray presents such a cornucopia of topics within diverse scientific disciplines like biology, chemistry, and earth sciences that visitors to the site can at least find something that intrigues them. It is too bad, though, that the site has its fair share of in-your-face advertisements that slow page loading and interfere with browsing. If the people behind Scienceray were able to make those disappear, well then that would be reason to rejoice!
