Strong Points: Outstanding news coverage
Weak Points: None

Summary:
I complain a lot about blogs, perhaps because I find the term overused and sort of mindless in its original implementation. OK, I’m a fussy person, but I’m also an open-minded one. That said, the ScienceBlogs page is an excellent news source that covers topics you won’t see in your mainstream press, such as a report out of Africa of the Christian community in Kenya attempting to hide fossils showing human evolution from primates. Other hot topics at the site include plagiarism detection at Penn State, the inability of x-rays to detect explosives, and men with body image problems. One of the most interesting blogs (substitute news sites) I’ve covered yet, ScienceBlogs is a big winner.
