Strong Points: Thorough lesson plans and resources, well-organized
Weak Points: None
Summary:
I am quick to put websites that exaggerate the extent of their content in their place, but I must agree with the assertion put forth by Science NetLinks that the page provides “a wealth of resources.” A great website for K–12 science educators, Science NetLinks delivers exactly what its name promises—links, links, and more links. This online resource from The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) includes a larger number of lesson plans, tools, and resources for teachers at all grade levels, and all of them are classified by benchmark so as to support standards-based teaching. The resources can be sorted by grade level, title, or benchmark. Each lesson/resource is well developed, with a lot of information and materials for the teachers. This is definitely a great site to help teachers train the young scientists of the future.
