Strong Points: Organization
Weak Points: A little light

Here is a medical site on steroids that blew me out of the water. Indeed, the scope of the site (apart from molecular hematology) is astonishing. It encompasses everything from biochemistry and biophysics to cell biology and taxonomy and much more. Within the subject of molecular hematology, the opening page offers an abundance of links to relevant topics, including coverage of the spleen, thymus, lymph nodes, leukemias, and much more. On top of all of these offerings, the most noticeable item on the site is an attractive female facial icon that stares out at you from the opening page and has a text box with the word ‘Ask’ beside it. Entering a question and pressing ‘Ask’ prompts her to give you audio/visually the answer to your question. I was amazed at the voice quality and the ability of the “infobot” to “understand” what I was asking. If you like having fun, trace your cursor around the page and watch her eyes follow it. Or, if you feel childish, ask her a totally dumb question and wait for her to one-up you with her reply. An amazing site and, I think, a view of information-based web sites to come.
