Inherited Arrhythmias Database has an outstanding collection of genetic information regarding heart arrhythmias. Hosted at the Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri in Italy, the site provides one of the most interesting collections of heart genetic information to be found. With a frame-based organization that, unfortunately, is a bit clunky, Inherited Arrhythmias Database puts visitors in touch with information quickly. The Website describes nine different arrhythmic syndromes along with sequence information and/or linkage data about each of the characterized genetic mutations causing each syndrome. A quick scan of the information provides a great reminder of how far we have come in genetic characterization of various diseases. A great site on an interesting topic.
