Summary:
Attention, Arabidopsis aficionados! Do functional genomics have you down? Are you tired of searching for websites that have the bioinformatics tools you need? Well, look no further. Allow me to present the one-stop shop for all of your research needs. GARNet (Genomic Arabidopsis Resource Network) is a project of the U.K.’s Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, and it is truly impressive in its scope. It is an early Christmas for anyone who wants to find a database of Arabidopsis transcription factors, microarray datasets, and free software for cell tracking all on one site. While the majority of the resources are geared toward Arabidopsis, there are also other botany-related tools (such as the wheat genetic improvement group). There is no better site to welcome you to the Brassicaceae family.
