Strong Points: Many calculators and conversion tools
Weak Points: Many ads, short entries

Though not obvious from its name, DiracDelta.co.uk is an online encyclopedia of science and engineering terms. They’ve got you covered from A (as in Ampere, the SI unit for electric current) to zymoscope (which, if you’re interested, is an apparatus to determine the fermenting ability of yeast). Site visitors can browse the encyclopedia alphabetically or by subject. The entries themselves are quite short—these are glossary-like entries as opposed to Wikipedia pages. Beyond the glossary-like entries, though, there are also examples of mathematical calculations and unit conversions included within the encyclopedia. These entries are generally accompanied by interactive calculators. Finally, visitors will find a collection of links to other web resources spanning a variety of science and engineering topics.
