Rating:
Strong Points: Well organized
Weak Points: None
Summary:
From Down Under comes an outstanding collection of information via the Australian Department of Environment and Heritage. Intelligently organized, the site’s main content areas include Environmental themes, such as Atmosphere, Biodiversity, Oceans, Human Settlements, Land Management, and Parks/Reserves. There are also numerous links to Australian heritage-related information. Other highlights of the site include zillions of outstanding links, an image database, a search engine, and much more. I am most impressed at the depth of information within the site. Clicking on a heading, like Coasts and Oceans, brings up images, relevant links, maps, and further subdivisions of content. Superbly put together and good reading.
