Thanks to the free iProtein app, the people at Eidogen-Sertanty bring the power of TIP to your mobile devices. The app—though equipped with a fairly daunting home screen—contains a thorough how-to section to get you on your way. Users can search the protein entries of TIP by keyword, sequence accession number (if looking for sequence information) or PDB code (if searching proteins structures), or model EID (Eidogen Identifiers). In addition to searching for sequence or structure information, users can search for ligand binding sites or browse all members of a protein family.
