Summary:

The Gas Encyclopedia app by Air Liquide is a wonderful reference app for students and researchers that is both beautifully designed and very informative. The app contains information for 64 different gases. This information is quite expansive and includes a rotatable 3-D chemical structure for each gas, chemical properties like density, heat capacity, and thermal conductivity (among others), brief notes on applications, and safety information that includes notes on material compatibility. App users can also download safety data sheets from the Gas Encyclopedia website if an Internet connection is available. Users can choose to compare the properties of two gases, and the app also comes with additional features such as a nicely designed unit conversion tool and a very helpful glossary.
