Strong Points: Beautiful layout, informative and easy to use
Weak Points: Need to create an account to bookmark genes

EverydayDNA is a great app for learning about common genes associated with disorders found in humans. The app allows users to search for genes based on their primary location in the body. Clicking on a particular gene provides information about the gene itself, the proteins it encodes, the disorders that have been linked to the gene, and any associated medicines. In addition to searching by gene, users are also able to search by disorder, trait, or medicine. Links to external resources are provided for anyone who desires additional information about a particular gene, and users who create an account are able to bookmark genes of interest to come back to later. The app is beautifully designed and easy to browse, and it provides a convenient way to learn more about clinically relevant genes.
