Organogenesis Inc. today announced the appointment of Dr. Vincent Ronfard PhD as Chief Science Officer for the Company. Dr. Ronfard will be responsible for generating new innovations via leading all aspects of research, product development and process development.

Dr. Ronfard brings more than 24 years in the field of tissue regeneration and joins Organogenesis Inc. from L'Oreal (U.S.A. and Paris) where he served as Associate Vice President/Director of Reconstructed Skin Worldwide. In this role he led the global research on skin engineering covering 40 researchers in the US, China and Europe. Dr. Ronfard also served as Director of Research at Modex Therapeutics which was an early pioneer in the field of tissue regeneration. Most exciting is the fact that Dr. Ronfard held the position of Senior Scientist at Organogenesis Inc. in the 1990's and returns to build on key patents which bear his name.
Dr. Ronfard combines strong cell biology with engineering competencies via a PhD in Cell Biology, University of Compiegne, France and a graduate degree of engineering in Agriculture, University of Lille. He is very well published and holds 7 patents.
