The Easy-Bench(TM) desk-style, downdraft dust collector reduces worker fatigue while improving operator output rates and production quality. The ergonomic, desk-style design of the Easy-Bench allows the operator to work over the downdraft area while seated, rather than standing and leaning over the downdraft area; as with typical downdraft table designs.The Easy-Bench is designed for use in manufacturing environments including metal fabrication, medical device, plastics, food processing, pharmaceutical processing, woodworking, glass art, pottery, and jewelry. The quick-clean design also makes the Easy-Bench perfect for applications in dental, optical, orthopedic, and vocational environments. The Easy-Bench efficiently collects smoke during light welding or soldering applications, dust during grinding, finishing, and deburring operations, even fumes during laboratory or chemical processes.
The Easy-Bench desk-style, downdraft dust collector's work surface is at a standard desk height of 35.5 inches from the floor. The large downdraft work surface is 36"W x 24"D, simplifying parts handling. The Easy-Bench provides a large legroom area of 26"H x 24"W x 14"D, offering the operator comfort and mobility. The work surface is seamless, eliminating crevices that could trap dirt or other contaminants. The Easy-Bench desk-style, downdraft dust collector is constructed of 14/16 ga. welded steel with a durable, white, powder-coat finish. An aluminum work surface is also available for aluminum applications.
The Easy-Bench delivers a collection efficiency of MERV 11 (average arrestance up to 98% at 1.0 to 3.0 micron particle size) with two 24" x 24" x 4" filters. An optional collection efficiency of MERV 14 (average arrestance up to 99% at 0.3 to 1.0 micron particle size) with HEPA filtration is also available. The Easy-Bench produces 800 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of collection air flow at a sound level of only 66 dBA.
