Viscometer

This small, flow-thru sanitary process viscometer, the SPL-374, can be used across a range of biopharmaceutical and R&D applications. The sensor directly connects into a one-quarter inch (6 mm) process line using sanitary connections. It requires less than 5 mL of sample to determine the viscosity of a solution. The SPL-374 also has an integrated heater for tight temperature control under flow conditions up to 1 ft/sec. The small sample size requirements, integrated heater, and release connections make it useful for miniature or small-scale research projects.
