The Opta SFT-I sterile connector is a single-use device that allows sterile connection between two separate, presterilized components in biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Opta SFT-I connectors consist of a female and a male coupling body that, once assembled, create a sterile fluid path via four-step operation. In addition to offering 1/2-inch hose barbs, the Opta SFT-I range includes 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch hose barbs. All hose barb dimensions have been specifically designed for coupling between the hose barb and various types of tubing.
